Gtechniq C1 forms a hard, crystalline film that helps prevent minor scratching caused by poor wash techniques, particularly on relatively soft automotive paint.

Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer Directions for Use
Follow these steps carefully for best results:
- Only apply indoors at temperatures of 5°C and above, out of direct sunlight
- Wear the gloves provided
- Soak the application pad with several drops of product
- Replace the lid on the bottle and set it aside to avoid premature curing
- Apply to a small panel or half of a large panel at a time
- Remove residue immediately with a microfibre cloth
- Buff gently, using at least two MF1 cloths and rotating them frequently
- Change the application pad after 3 to 4 applications
- If residue fully cures, re-polish the area and reapply C1
- Place microfibres in water immediately after use and wash as soon as possible
- Leave the vehicle indoors for 12 hours before exposing it to the elements
- If applying EXO Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating or C2 Liquid Crystal, wait at least 4 hours
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Use within 3 months of opening
