Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer utilises an advanced chemical bond to become an extension of the plastic molecule it is protecting. By exchanging part of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your vehicle’s trim, it forms a protective coating with exceptional durability.
Unlike many trim restoration products on the market, Gtechniq C4 forms an ultra-thin, optically clear film measuring approximately 30 nanometres. This means it restores trim without adding an artificial or overly glossy finish.
Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer restores all but the most severely faded trim to an ‘as new’ appearance and is also ideal for new trim, helping to prevent fading before it starts.

Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer Directions for Use
Follow these steps carefully to achieve the best results:
- Ensure you have sufficient product to cover all trim areas before starting
- As a guide, a Mini typically requires around 30ml, while a Golf requires approximately 15ml
- Work in a well-ventilated area at temperatures above 5°C and out of direct sunlight
- Wear the gloves provided
- Ensure all trim surfaces are free from contaminants
- For best results, clean trim using a neat solution of W5 Citrus All Purpose Cleaner
- If required, agitate with a medium stiff brush
- Use the AP1 Lint-Free Applicator supplied and soak the pad with several drops of product
- Spread the coating evenly across each trim surface
- Immediately remove residue with a microfibre cloth
- Take extra care on heavily textured trim to ensure all crevices are coated and residue-free
- Allow the coating to cure for 12 hours before exposing the vehicle to the elements
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Use within 3 months of opening
