Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour offers the best protection for wheels, repelling brake dust and contaminants and making them much easier to maintain.
Because of Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour’s unique, exceptionally fine surface rheology and chemical bonding mechanism, its performance is outstanding. The fine surface structure gives the coating excellent stain and contaminant resistance, while the chemical bond formed between the wheel surface and C5 makes the coating extremely durable.
Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour retains its integrity at temperatures of up to 600°C, making it suitable for all parts of your vehicle’s rims and brake callipers.

Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour Coverage Guide
- 15ml of C5 will cover the rim faces only of up to 17-inch wheels
- 30ml of C5 will cover the inside and outside of any wheels up to 20 inches
Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour Directions for Use
Follow these simple steps to help you get the best results:
- Make sure your wheels are clean and dry before application
- Wash and decontaminate wheels using Gtechniq W5 Citrus All Purpose Cleaner and Gtechniq W6 Iron & Fallout Remover
- Wipe down each wheel with Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure the best possible bond
- Apply indoors in a well-ventilated area at a temperature above 5°C
- Shake bottle well before use and wear gloves
- Soak the AP1 Lint Free Applicator Pad with several drops of product
- Apply to no more than half a wheel at a time
- Buff residue within 30–60 seconds using a microfibre cloth or MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth
- Repeat the process on all wheels
- Allow the coating to cure indoors for 12 hours before exposing to the elements
- Suitable for gloss, satin and matte rim finishes
- Fit for use on chrome wheels but not suitable for polished metals
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Use within 3 months of opening
