Gtechniq W9 Water Spot Remover is a concentrated formula that is 100% coating safe and designed to remove stubborn water spotting with ease.
Unlike standard single-mechanism water spot removers, Gtechniq W9 uses a unique three-mechanism approach. It dissolves and removes salts, traps metal ions commonly found in tap water, and removes silica scale – which is traditionally very difficult to eliminate.
Hard water spots and silica scale disappear from exterior surfaces quickly and effectively. The formula works exceptionally well on glass, where watermarks are often hardest to remove.
Suitable for use on all paint types, including matte finishes.

Gtechniq W9 Water Spot Remover Application Information
Simple steps to help you get the best results:
- Use after washing and drying your car.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight.
- Shake well before use and wear gloves.
- Spray liberally onto a clean Gtechniq MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth.
- Wipe onto an area no bigger than 2ft x 2ft (60cm x 60cm).
- Buff immediately with a clean MF1 cloth.
- Repeat as necessary.
- Re-wash your car after use.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
